Here are a few words from Jennifer, a CASA Volunteer.

“I am a retired public school teacher. I decided I needed something important and fulfilling to do with my time during retirement so I became a CASA. I have had four different cases and served ten different kids. I enjoy listening to kids and getting a window into how their minds work. They’re extremely bright and perceptive and process life differently than adults. The most meaningful thing, which to some may seem small, is when my CASA kids are excited and anxious to see me. Their faces beam. I know I’m having a positive impact on their lives. And, it only takes one person to do that.”
