The Northern Colorado Children’s Festival will be held on April 8, from 10AM to 3PM at Island Grove Events Center in Greeley and Life Stories will have a booth.  It is an annual one-day event for parents, caregivers, and their children to engage in a variety of hands-on experiences that are both educational and fun.  It focuses public attention on the needs of Weld County’s young children and their families, and recognizes the early childhood programs and services available in the community. The festival offers many forms of quality play experience for children ages 0-8 to enjoy and for parents to learn how they can replicate the activities at home. The event is free of charge—every family is welcome. There are 90+ booths available for family participation; examples include developing fine motor skills, healthy eating and childhood obesity prevention, how to make homemade play dough, children’s immunizations, early childhood screenings, and more.
